Friday, June 22nd is Take Your Dog to Work Day!  

On this day, dog-friendly businesses allow their employees to bring their canine companion to work with them.  It is a day of celebrating dogs and promoting the adoption of homeless dogs.





On TYDTWD, there are a number of things you can do in addition to bringing your dog to work:

·         Plan a fun event with doggie games and special canine cuisine to get non-dog owner employees involved and potentially interested in adoption.

·         Hold a silent auction or fundraiser with proceeds going to an animal shelter or other pet charity.

·         Sponsor an Adopt-A-Thon and invite a few local shelter animals that need homes to visit with employees at your office.

·         Host a Grooming Day, where your local Zoomin Groomin mobile groomer visits your office to groom visiting dogs.  
A portion of the proceeds would be donated to the local shelter of your choice!
